Abstract

Developing teachers' skills in writing scientific papers and developing research-based teaching materials is one way to improve the professionalism of educators in vocational schools. This community service activity was conducted at SMK Grafika Gadingrejo, involving 20 teachers from various departments. The community service method used a participatory approach through two main stages: planning and implementation, which included outreach, interactive training, intensive mentoring, and evaluation. The results of the activity demonstrated significant improvements in teachers' knowledge, skills, and motivation in writing scientific papers and developing evidence-based teaching materials. Teachers were able to complete drafts of scientific papers and teaching materials relevant to their respective subjects. This activity also fostered a more active academic culture within the school environment, potentially improving the quality of learning on an ongoing basis.
