Abstract

The scientific writing mentoring activity organized by the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Pringsewu Regency aims to improve the ability to write scientific papers for students, the general public, and village officials. This program involves a series of intensive training and guidance designed to equip participants with knowledge and skills in academic writing. This mentoring covers various aspects of scientific writing, from topic selection, writing outline preparation, to good and correct writing techniques. The methods used include lectures, group discussions, and direct writing practice. Evaluation is carried out through assessment of the written work produced by participants at the end of the program. The results of this activity show a significant increase in the quality of participants' scientific writing. Students are able to compile more systematic and structured scientific articles, the general public gains sufficient basic knowledge to write scientific papers independently, and village officials demonstrate better abilities in documenting village programs and activities scientifically. This activity not only improves the individual abilities of participants, but is also expected to make a positive contribution to improving the quality of literacy and scientific documentation in Pringsewu Regency. The sustainability of this mentoring program is expected to be one of the strategic efforts in supporting knowledge-based development in the region.
